On March 26, the opening ceremony for the 26th Campus Sports and Culture Festival took place at the Competition Gymnasium. Attending the event were Deputy Secretary of the University Party Committee Li Rongsheng, Secretary of the Sports Department Party Committee Li Kai, Director of the Sports Department Su Qingfu, Director of the Student Affairs Office Liu Tie, Deputy Director of the Sports Department Zhu Kai, along with representatives from the University Youth League Committee and student affairs leadership from various schools and departments.

After the opening ceremony, the first match of the Basketball League Finals took place between the College of Power and Energy Engineering and the College of Underwater Acoustics Engineering. Vice Secretary Li Rongsheng performed the ceremonial tip-off. The College of Power and Energy Engineering emerged victorious with a 47-27 win over the College of Underwater Acoustics Engineering, claiming the first victory of the finals.

The Basketball League Finals will span three weeks, culminating in the championship match on April 9. In the meantime, a range of sports competitions and cultural activities will be rolled out as part of the Campus Sports and Culture Festival, designed to enhance campus life and promote students' physical well-being. Faculty and students are encouraged to actively participate!
